Job Overview

Our Customer Service Consultants are the front line in delivering expert and unparalleled service to hundreds of thousands of explorers from right across the globe. The masterminds in all things Global Touring Group, they know how to match each customer with their perfect travel experience. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively sell all Global Touring Group products and be responsible for all aspects of the booking, from initial enquiry to departure
  • Engage with our global customers (both travel agents, and direct) across multiple platforms. Responding in a positive and timely manner. Building relationships and guiding them through the booking process, right up to the point of travel.
  • Responsible for booking travel, flights and insurance.
  • Ensure that every single customer finds the best trip for their needs.
  • Up sell, on sell where possible, looking to increase average customer transaction value
  • Become an international travel expert through a range of online / offline courses
  • Be the expert in the Global Touring Group’s product range by attending product trainings, updates and familiarisation trips
  • Actively take part in a range of festivals, events and trade shows, which may be outside your usual hours of work
  • Operate within Topdeck’s One Best Way guidelines

Experience, Requirements and Key Behaviours:

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Experience in the travel industry is preferred but not essential
  • And of course… A passion for all things travel related!
