Position Overview

An exciting opportunity exists for someone to join our NSW sales team. You will have responsibility for your own region to promote and grow the global Topdeck product range. As the ‘face’ of Topdeck in this market, you will liaise with key industry stakeholders and focus on training, sales and brand as well as look for potential new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Professionally service existing trade on a regular scheduled basis throughout assigned region
  • Plan, create and implement a strategic call cycle to optimize sales growth
  • Conduct in-store training sessions with trade, as well as consumer direct presentations
  • Develop key relationships with travel agents and other partners that will aid in achieving sales targets
  • Monitor and combat competitor activity. As part of this, develop a thorough product knowledge and an understanding of all competitors products
  • Represent Topdeck at networking, industry and consumer events 
  • Monthly reporting on sales growth and activity
  • Assist with and fulfill local store marketing requests for trade
  • Manage an allocated expense budget for your region
  • In conjunction with the other BDMs in this region, represent Topdeck at all consumer expos
  • Represent Topdeck in other markets as required
  • Co-ordinate and communicate between qualified agents and relative contacts within Topdeck to run smooth and well communicated famils

The Team

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you are an integral member of the international sales team and work closely with the Global Marketing and Customer Service Teams.

 

Experience and Requirements and Key behaviors:

  • Excellent knowledge of Topdeck destinations
  • Sales experience
  • Passion for travel and the Topdeck product range
  • Work with travel agents and have an understanding of the travel industry
  • Must be a team player, although work autonomously in an external to office environment
  • Ability to think outside the square
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Confidence in presentations and training customers in product features and benefits
  • A passion for pursuing excellence in results
  • Ability to adapt to surroundings and interact with multiple personality types
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to not only lead but also take guidance and direction
  • Extensive travel, pre-dominantly domestic with some international
